How To Use Your Mala ~ A Powerful Tool for Healing

Would your mind rather work on your to-do list than plunge deeper into consciousness? Are you looking for tools to help with your spiritual practice? Do you have trouble meditating?

108 BEAD MALAS are a string of approximately 108 beads, historically used by the sages of ancient Tibet and India. They are used for keeping count while reciting a mantra from the ancient Sanskrit language. Ancient sanskrit is made up of primordal sounds that raise our frequency when recited. We know that THOUGHTS CREATE OUR REALITY. When we focus on healing mantras or positive affirmations while using the malas of specific healing stones, we allow powerful healing to happen.

How To Use Your Mala

To use your mala hold your mala in your right hand, draped between your middle and index fingers. Starting at the guru bead, use your thumb to count each bead, pulling it toward you as you recite your mantra. To have 108 beads on your mala is ancient tradition because it takes this many times of reciting your mantra for healing to happen....

According to the Book of Stones, “When we bring the crystal into our electromagnetic field, two things occur. The electromagnetic frequencies carried by the stone will vibrate with related frequencies in our own energy field through the physical law of resonance, creating a third larger vibrational field. The nervous system is attuned to these shifts in energy and transmits this information to the brain. Here the frequencies stimulate biochemical shifts that affect the physical body and shift brain function.” (Simmons & Ahsian 2005, 28)
